According to this law, tourist visas to Russia for a period of six months will be issued, among other things, to tourists who have presented confirmation of booking a place in a hotel or other accommodation facility, information about which is contained in a single list of classified objects of the tourism industry - hotels, ski slopes, beaches.
Citizens of states will be able to use this according to the list to be determined by the Government of Russia.
While there is no such list, we are closely monitoring the publication of the relevant act, and we will inform you as soon as it appears.
We remind you that on September 11, 2021, changes in legislation came into force, simplifying the procedure for issuing tourist visas to enter Russia - it became possible to obtain a tourist visa only on the basis of confirmation of booking an accommodation facility, information about which is contained in a single list of classified hotels, and The maximum period for which a tourist can obtain a tourist visa to Russia has increased from 1 to 6 months.
