On April 6, 2019, the Government of Russia adopted Resolution No. 411, which empowers multifunctional centers (MFC) with the powers to receive and issue a passport of a citizen of Russia and a foreign passport.
The MFC will participate in exchange of information on the basis of acts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and use the state system of manufacturing, processing and controlling the passport and visa documents of a new generation.
This Resolution of the Government of Russia will enter into force on April 18, 2019.
