The Government of Russia adopted Order No. 338-r as of February 18, 2020, providing for suspension from February 20, 2020 of admission of citizens of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) for private, educational, tourist or work purposes.
Also, the acceptance of documents, the processing and issuance of invitations to enter Russia for the purpose of laboring for citizens of the PRC, as well as permits to attract and use foreign workers and work permits for these citizens located outside Russia, were temporarily suspended.
Also, on February 19, 2020, the acceptance of documents, registration and issuance of invitations to enter Russia for private and educational purposes for Chinese citizens was temporarily suspended.
For citizens of China, already in Russia and working in Russia, no restrictions are provided.
