The government of Russia has taken precautionary measures to limit the entry of a new coronavirus infection

The government of the Russian Federation has adopted a number of orders preventing the entry of a new coronavirus infection into the territory of the Russian Federation (2019-nCoV).

By order of the government of the Russian Federation No.194-R of February 03, 2020, suspends:

1. Entry of foreign citizens from the territory of the Republic of China at air checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation, except for the air checkpoint across the state border of the Russian Federation Moscow (Sheremetyevo), except for citizens of the members of Eurasian Economic Union, as well as aircraft crews, members of official delegations and persons who have a residence permit in the Russian Federation.

By order of the government of the Russian Federation No.153-R of January 31, 2020, suspends:

1. Visa-free tourist trips of citizens of the Republic of China to the territory of the Russian Federation and citizens of the Russian Federation to the Republic of China;
2. Acceptance of documents for registration and issuance of invitations for citizens of the Republic of China to enter the Russian Federation;
3. Acceptance of documents for registration and issuance of permits to attract and use foreign workers and work permits for citizens of the Republic of China located outside the Russian Federation;
4. Acceptance of documents for processing and issuing visas to citizens of the Republic of China at the consular offices of the Russian Ministry of External Affairs in the Republic of China.

Decree of the government of the Russian Federation No. 154-R of January 31, 2020 restricts:

1. Movement of citizens of the Republic of China through checkpoints on certain sections of the state border of the Russian Federation with Mongolia;

These restrictions are temporary and will remain until the situation in the Republic of China stabilizes.
