Please note that the period of stay on such a visa is the entire period of validity of the visa, in addition, the obligation to jointly enter the country with a citizen of the Russian Federation who is the inviting party was excluded from the Federal Law.
Changes were made to the original version of Federal Law No. 270-FZ dated 01.07.2021, in particular, an ordinary private visa is issued for a period of only up to three months for emergency treatment or in connection with a serious illness, death of a close relative or in connection with visits to military and civil graves. In this case, the foreign citizen himself applies for a visa.
In addition, it became possible to issue an ordinary work and study visa for family members (spouses and minor children) of a foreign citizen, respectively, working or studying on a work and / or student visa. However, the current List of Travel Purposes used in the registration and issuance of visas to foreign citizens, approved by order of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of December 21, 2020 N 23235, does not yet contain these purposes.
