In continuation of the news published on our website on June 10, 2020 under the title: " Normative acts in the field of regulation of counteraction to coronavirus infection", available here, we inform you that the resolution of January 31, 2020 No. 66 was supplemented by paragraph 16, in which coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV) has been added. "Thus, in addition to COVID-19, the list of diseases also includes HIV, leprosy, syphilis and tuberculosis.
Since June 27, 2020, every foreign citizen who wants to apply for a patent, work permit, temporary residence permit, residence permit or Russian citizenship is required to undergo a medical examination, including the COVID-19 PCR test, as well as undergo examination by an infectious disease specialist and a laboratory study on COVID-19 using nucleic acid amplification methods.
Also, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation included coronavirus in the list of diseases, the presence of which may become the basis for refusing to issue or cancel the above documents.
Please note that when applying for multiple visas, the consular departments of the embassies of the Russian Federation must submit to the authorized state body a certificate confirming that the foreign citizen does not have HIV infection if he applies for a visa for a period of more than 3 months.
Please note that in practice, medical reports issued before July 27, 2020 are not accepted for the issuance of permits.
