Following our news, we inform you that according to the Order 485-r dated February 26, 2021, the Russian Government approved Order No. 485-r dated February 26, 2021, which provides for the extension of the application period for the "Traveling without COVID-19" mobile application until April 1, 2021 to present negative test results for a new coronavirus infection when crossing the state border of the Russian Federation at certain checkpoints. Previously, the enter period was set to March 1, 2021.
Citizens of the states that are members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) can enter Russia through the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus in a simplified procedure using a special mobile application "Traveling without COVID-19".
The application simplifies the procedure for moving between countries for residents of the EAEU states, while ensuring compliance with current requirements.
In addition to information about the sanitary and epidemiological rules and regulations in force in a particular EAEU country, the "Traveling without COVID-19" platform contains a list of verified laboratories. The app allows you to store test results and QR codes. The functionality of the application allows responsible persons to check the test results at the entrance to the country both visually (green color of the QR code of a test) and using a standard QR code reader on any smartphone.
