In continuation of the previously published news about the draft law proposed by the Government of Russia, we report that on July 3, 2019, the President of Russia signed a bill that reduces the work experience of foreign workers in professions provided by the Government from three years to one year.
The bill reduces from three years to one year the necessary period for foreign citizens and stateless persons to work in Russia by profession (specialty, position) included in the list of professions (specialties, positions) of qualified specialists who have the right to be granted citizenship of Russia in simplified order.
These changes will come into force on October 2, 2019.
