On October 1, 2019, entry and exit from Russia through St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region can be carried out on the basis of ordinary single-entry business, tourist and humanitarian visas in the form of electronic documents
It is provided by Decree of the President of Russia No. 347 as of July 18, 2019.
Foreign citizens who receive an electronic visa will be able to stay in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region for no more than 8 days. Until October 1, the Government of Russia will determine the list of foreign countries whose citizens can use the simplified method of entry into Russia. For issuing electronic visas consular fee is not charged.
