On October 31, 2018 President of Russia adopted Decree No. 622 “On the Concept of the state migration policy of Russia for 2019-2025”.
The main principle of the migration policy of Russia will be the priority of the interests of Russian citizens living in the country. Spatial segregation will be eliminated, opposition to formation of ethnic enclaves and marginalization of foreign visitors will be.
As a priority, state will finance the resettlement of compatriots to Russia to territory of priority settlement. It is planned to ensure transport connectivity of regions and form an affordable housing market. Mechanisms for organizing the attraction of foreign workers will be formed.
Thie Decree came into force on the day of its signing.
