Information appeared on the website of the Moscow Multifunctional Migration Center in Sakharovo that the list of medical organizations authorized to conduct medical examinations for foreign citizens has been amended.
Namely, for foreign citizens who “arrived in Russia on the basis of a visa or by invitation on the basis of a quota, for the purposes of labor activity”, the following commercial clinics were added:
- Joint Stock Company “Group of Companies “Medsi”;
- Joint Stock Company "Medicine";
- Joint stock company "European Medical Center".
We believe that this category of citizens includes visa foreigners working either on the basis of any work permit, or in a manner that does not require a work permit (for example, teachers).
However, it is not possible to get any clarifications and draw more accurate conclusions on this matter, because these changes were introduced by Decree of the Government of Moscow dated January 21, 2021 N 30-PP, which has not yet been published in official sources and its exact text is not known.
In this connection, these commercial clinics do not carry out the discussed medical examination of foreign citizens until the official publication of this Resolution.
In addition, from January 24, 2022, it became possible to submit ready-made medical documents and undergo fingerprinting and photography not only at the Multifunctional Migration Center of Moscow in Sakharovo, but also at the Migration Center subdivision located at the address: st. Bakhrushina 18, building 1 (Paveletskaya metro station) (by appointment on the website of the Multifunctional Migration Center of Moscow in Sakharovo).
Categories of persons who have already passed a medical examination in established medical organizations can submit ready-made medical documents and undergo fingerprinting at this address, are given below:
- foreign citizens and stateless persons who arrived in Russia in a manner requiring a visa in order to carry out labor activities on the territory of the city of Moscow;
- foreign citizens and stateless persons who arrived in Russia for purposes not related to employment and plan to stay in the city of Moscow for more than 90 days (including such categories as foreign students, foreign citizens who arrived in order to undergo a long treatment, family members of foreign workers, including children from six years of age).
Please note that the service for the transfer of medical documents to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is provided by the subdivision of the State Budgetary Institution "Migration Center" (on Bakhrushina street, 18, building 1) on a paid basis, and its cost is 10,000 rubles per person. The cost of this service is 1,000 rubles for a minor foreign citizen, a foreign citizen recognized as having limited legal capacity or a legally incompetent citizen, and a legal representative of these persons (one of the accompanying parents, guardian, custodian).
