The Russian authorities have lifted entry restrictions for 47,000 Kyrgyz citizens who have previously committed minor offenses on the territory of Russia, the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said in a statement dated July 2, 2022.
This decision was made following the results of the negotiations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan held in May 2022.
It is noted that about 35,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan remain on the list of persons who are banned from entering Russia, including those expelled from Russia on the basis of decisions of Russian courts.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan recalled that citizens of Kyrgyzstan can check their status on the official website of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
