In accordance with the order, if a decision on the undesirability of the stay or residence of a foreign citizen or stateless person in Russia is made with respect to a person under the age of 18, the same decision will be made with respect to his parents.
We remind you that a decision to recognize the stay of a foreign citizen in Russia as undesirable may be made in the following cases:
• violations upon entry into Russia;
• absence or loss of documents confirming the right to stay or reside in the country;
• failure to leave the country after the permitted period has expired;
• violation of transit rules;
• also if such a person poses a real threat to the defense capability or security of the state, public order or public health.
The order comes into force on February 5, 2025.
