On July 2, 2022, the Decree of the Chief Sanitary Doctor No. 18 dated June 20, 2022 was published and entered into force, according to which some of the previously introduced anti-COVID measures on the territory of Russi, as well as upon entering Russia, are suspended.
In particular, the requirements for self-isolation of both citizens of Russia arriving from abroad and foreign citizens arriving to Russia until the test results are received are cancelled; mask regime, the requirement of social distance in public places; a ban of mass events and limiting the number of their participants; prohibition of public catering activity at night; the requirement to wear masks, work restrictions for the people with chronic diseases and aged over 65; the requirements for transport disinfection have also been relaxed.
The requirement for a negative PCR test for foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Russia is still in force.
