On May 31, 2017 the Decree of the President of Russia «On the abolition of certain special economic measures against the Republic of Turkey» came into force.
In accordance with the Decree, changes are made to Presidential Decree № 583 as of November 28, 2015 «On measures to ensure the national security of the RF and protection of citizens of the RF from criminal and other illegal actions and on the application of special economic measures against the Republic of Turkey» (Hereinafter - the Decree № 583).
The ban on hiring Turkish citizens by Russian organizations is being canceled. Now, Russian organizations have the right to hire Turkish citizens on a common basis.
The prohibition and restriction for Turkish organizations to perform certain types of work (rendering services) on the territory of the RF, as well as a number of other prohibitive measures, are cancelled.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RF was instructed to send a notification to the Republic of Turkey on the partial renewal of the Agreement between the Government of the RF and the Government of the Republic of Turkey on the conditions for mutual visits of citizens of the RF and citizens of the Republic of Turkey as of May 12, 2010.
At the same time, the rest of the Decree of the President of the RF № 583 remains valid.
