On February 6, 2019, Presidential Decree No. 39 “On abolition of certain special economic measures regarding for the Republic of Turkey” came into force.
Russia renews the agreement on mutual trips for Turkish citizens who have valid special passports and are sent to Russia on short-term business trips, including to diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkey. These restrictions are lifted subject to adoption by Turkey of similar measures in respect of citizens of Russia who have valid service passports.
The agreement on conditions for mutual trips is also again valid for Turkish citizens - professional drivers engaged in international road haulage - subject to adoption of similar measures by Turkey against Russian drivers engaged in international road transport.
