"Russia decided to proceed with the migration amnesty for Moldavian citizens - said Dodon. - This is one of the first results of our meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. I would like to thank him for the prompt solution of the problem of Moldavian migrants."
Igor Dodon said that currently there are 250 thousand Moldavian citizens who violated the regime of stay in Russia. Until March 20, these people can apply to the local offices of the Department on migration issues of the Interior Ministry with the application on their legalization in Russia. Those who deported to Moldova will also be able to freely cross the Russian border for application to the Interior Ministry, said the president. "The only exceptions are those with criminal records in Russia", - said Igor Dodon.
He urged the Moldavian citizens to take advantage of this opportunity and do not violate Russian legislation no more, as well as worthy represent their home-country.
