The Ministry of Digital Development is preparing a draft resolution of the Government of Russia, which provides for the possibility of obtaining VHI for foreign workers online.
Therefore, I propose to conduct an experiment on this bill from June 1, 2022 to December 28, 2023. During this time, a foreign worker will be able to choose an insurance company for issuing a VMI policy on the State Services portal, and then the policy itself will be issued on the platform of the Unified Identification and Authentication System (ESIA).
After paying for the policy, the insurance company will send it to the owner by e-mail, and upload it to the personal account on the State Services website.
We are monitoring this initiative closely and will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.
