From June 10, you can enter Japan on a tourist visa as part of tourist groups, the country's embassy in Russia reports.
When applying, you will need to submit:
- visa application form
- international passport
- copy of national passport
- a certificate from the place of work or from the bank on the availability of funds, or another document that confirms that the tourist has the opportunity to pay for the trip
- flight booking
- the program of stay in Japan as part of an organized tour.
An additional document from the Japanese travel company, which acts as a guarantor will also be needed.

Also, from June 1, Russians entering Japan will not need to present a vaccination certificate, undergo quarantine or a test upon arrival. For entry, a negative PCR test is required, made no earlier than 72 hours before departure. The certificate must be in paper form in English.
