From 16.05.2022 Russia lifts restrictions on air traffic with Ecuador and on entry of citizens to countries across land border

At a meeting of the operational headquarters to prevent the importation and spread of a new coronavirus infection, it was announced that from May 16, 2022, a number of restrictions imposed in connection with the pandemic would be eased, namely:

• restrictions on the exit of citizens of Russia to the territory of the DPR and LPR across the land border are lifted;
• restrictions on the exit of citizens of Russia to Armenia and Kyrgyzstan through the land Russian-Georgian and Russian-Kyrgyz borders are lifted, respectively;
• restrictions on the entry of citizens of the Republic of Armenia are lifted, including by crossing the Russian-Georgian section of the state border of Russia, and the Kyrgyz Republic in Russia (it is not specified whether absolutely all restrictions or only restrictions related to crossing the land borders mentioned above are meant) ;
• international flights are resumed from the airports of Anadyr, Blagoveshchensk, Bratsk, Kurgan, Magas, Ostafyevo (Moscow region), Petrozavodsk, Provideniya (Bukhta), Sabetta, Saransk, Simferopol, Ulyanovsk, Cheboksary, Elista, Yaroslavl;
• restrictions on regular and charter flights from Russian international airports to Ecuador are lifted.
