On May 19, 2022, The Orderof the Government of Russia No. 903 "On Amendments to the Order of the Government of Russia of October 31, 2014 No. 1134”.
Now the costs of a compulsory medical examination for citizens of Ukraine, LDNR and stateless persons permanently lived in these territories applying for refugee status in Russia will be reimbursed from the federal budget.
The examination will be carried out free of charge by medical organizations subordinate to the executive authorities of the constituent entities of Russia and local governments.
Corresponding changes have also been made to the Rules for providing reimbursement from the federal budget for the provision of medical care to abovementioned citizens – these Rules now apply to compulsory medical examination of the persons obtaining refugee status.
The Order has also clarified the list of persons entitled to a free medical examination – they include citizens of Ukraine, the LPR and the DPR, as well as stateless persons permanently resided in the territories of Ukraine, LPR and DPR, who were forced to enter the territory of Russia on an emergency basis, as well as members of their families.
The Order has entered into force at the time of its publication.
