Following the meeting of the Russian Trilateral Commission on Social and Labor Relations under the Government of Russia, it was decided to simplify the process of obtaining a number by labor migrants in the personalized registration system in the PFR.
According to this decision, a foreign citizen will be able to issue a registration number for a personified account in the Pension Fund of Russia immediately after crossing the border of Russia. To do this, he or she will need to apply in advance from the country of residence through the "Unified Identification and Authentication System ..." (FSIS ESIA).
These changes will greatly facilitate the process of employment of labor migrants and expected to enter into force on January 1, 2022.
