The authorities of the Kherson region reported that citizens of Russia from June 30 will be able to freely visit the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. The corresponding message was published in the Telegram channel of the Kherson administration. Previously, due to restrictions on the border for leaving Russia, entry into these areas was possible only if relatives lived in the region or other special circumstances.
Corresponding changes were made to the Order of the Government of Russia dated March 27, 2020 N 763-p – in subparagraph 14, paragraph 2, the Kherson region is added to the list of regions to which the exit from Russia is not limited.
However, there is no official confirmation of the amendments to the Order of the Government of Russia No. 763-r regarding entry from Russia to the Zaporizhia region yet, and there are no comments from the authorities of the Zaporizhia region.
Also, bus and passenger rail traffic is resumed between Kherson, Zaporizhia regions and Crimea from July 1, 2022.
