At the VI International Form of Labor, which took place in St. Petersburg, among other things, the idea was voiced to reduce the time for processing documents for labor migrants who re-entered the territory of Russia.
This idea was voiced by Dmitry Chereiko, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Labor and Employment. He stated that “the time required to process documents for labor migrants who entered Russia for the first time can be reduced from 30 to 14 days, and for those who come again - up to 5-7 days, which will significantly reduce the costs of both employers and the migrants themselves.”
We are closely monitoring the situation and will update you as we take further steps in this initiative.
