Saudi Arabia has simplified entry for vaccinated tourists since 05.03.2022:
- tourists no longer need to take PCR tests (or for antigen) before entering the country;
- tourists don't need to be quarantined anymore;
Saudi Arabia recognizes the Russian "Sputnik V" vaccine.
Unvaccinated tourists will be also able to enter the country, but in compliance with a 5-day quarantine at their own expense (such a trip option can be booked through the airline they are flying with, no later than 72 hours before departure).
To travel to Saudi Arabia, you will need the following documents:
- confirmation of vaccination which shall be downloaded via the online platform Quddum (if available);
- insurance to cover the cost of treatment of coronavirus infection which shall downloaded through the Tawakkalna app within 8 hours after arrival to Saudi Arabia;
- visa.
