Sberbank will start providing Russian citizens with passports acting as a multifunctional center. Previously the government requested to work on this question the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Bank of Russia, Sberbank and VTB.
This year Sberbank is planning to start pilot projects in a number of regions, beginning in 2019 it’s going to issue passports and migration documents throughout the branch network, as Sberbank vice-president Andrey Sharov said. Clients of the bank will be able to register an apartment, to get a passport, a driver's license.
