Confidence Group consultants received information about the lifting of all restrictions on entry into Switzerland, starting from May 02, 2022. A confirmation of this intention has been provided in formal correspondence from the Consulate of Switzerland in Moscow.
According to the correspondence, a certificate of a recognized vaccine will no longer be required to enter Switzerland (Switzerland does not recognize Russian vaccines). You also do not need to provide a negative PCR test for COVID-19 either when crossing the border or after entering the country. It is also not required to fill out the Electronic entry form before entering the country. Quarantine is not observed.
The initiation of a laissez-passer entry permit when visiting Switzerland in cases of absolute necessity (including business purposes) will also no longer be required.
Please also notice that airlines may have their own, special, requirements, we recommend to additionally confirm the information on entry with the concrete air company directly.
Please note that information on the complete lifting of entry restrictions has not been published on the official website of the Swiss Consulate yet , though we hope that this happens in the near future. Confidence Group consultants will monitor the situation.
