The Italian authorities have decided to ease the requirements for tourists who are vaccinated with vaccines recognized in Italy ("Sputnik V" still does not apply to such vaccines) or have been ill with COVID-19 after vaccination. Now tourists will be able to visit all places where a Green Super Pass was required (hotels, restaurants, museums, etc.) with their certificate of vaccination or recovery (valid for no more than 6 months after immunization/ recovery).
However, tourists vaccinated with vaccines that are not recognized in Italy (for example, Sputnik V) will also be able to visit all of the above places if they provide a negative rapid test for COVID-19 (valid for 48 hours) or a PCR test (valid for 72 hours).
According to the news agency ANSA, the decree with the new rules will come into force on 07.02.2022.
The rest of the rules and restrictions in the country remain the same for now.
