On August 27, the Agreement between the Government of the RF and the Government of the Republic of El Salvador (El Salvador) on the conditions of cancelation of visa requirements for mutual trips of citizens of Russia and citizens of El Salvador, signed on March 26, 2015 in Guatemala, came into force.
Under the Agreement the citizens of the RF and citizens of El Salvador, holding valid passports entitling to cross the border, can enter, exit, transit and stay on the territory of another country without a visa up to 90 days per period of 180 days from the date of their first entry.
Citizens of one state intending to reside or stay in another country for more than 90 days, or exercise on its territory labor or commercial activity, must obtain a visa in accordance with the legislation of the state of entry.
Russia and El Salvador in pursuance to the Agreement will exchange samples of passports and keep each other informed of relevant developments.
