According to this law, acquired citizenship of Russia may be terminated as a result of a number of crimes, including crimes against the state and its security, including discrediting the Armed Forces of Russia, participation in unauthorized rallies, as well as drug-related crimes.
The new draft law proposes to expand the list of such crimes to include also crimes against life and health, against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the individual (Article 105 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Murder", Article 111 "Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm", Article 112 "Intentional infliction of moderate bodily harm", Article 117 "Torture", Articles 131-133 of Chapter 18 "Crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the individual").
