Starting from June 1, 2016, it is obligatory for Russian truck drivers to have visa when crossing the Turkish border, reported the Association of International Carriers of Turkey.
"Turkey hasn’t imposed visas for Russian truck drivers for a long time, but starting from June 1, it was forced to impose visas due to the tightening of border controls for Turkish goods. Nevertheless, we expect to return to the simplification of visa regime, which had an effect before the incident with Russian downed plane", - said the representative of the association.
