At the end of 2023, acts of the subjeccts of the Russian Federation established regional coefficients, after which the cost of patents for foreign citizens in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for 2024 became known. The deflator coefficient was established by Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia dated October 23, 2023 No. 730 and amounted to 2,400 (in 2023 it was 2,270).
In 2024, the fixed advance payment for personal income tax to obtain a work patent is calculated as follows: 1200 x 2,400 x regional coefficient.
- the cost of a patent in Moscow will be 7,500 rubles.
- the cost of a patent in the Moscow region will be 7,500 rubles.
- the cost of a patent in St. Petersburg will be 4,600 rubles.
