A uniform cost for Russian language exams has been established

The Russian Government Resolution of December 4, 2024 No. 1717 was published, according to which the cost of exams for foreign citizens will be fixed. Previously, it was calculated according to the formula established by the Russian Government Resolution of May 31, 2021 No. 831. We wrote about the draft of this resolution earlier in our news.

Now the cost of exams for foreign citizens will be as follows:
• Russian language exam for obtaining Russian citizenship - 2950 rubles;
• exam on the history of Russia and the basics of legislation for obtaining Russian citizenship - 2950 rubles.

Comprehensive exam in Russian language, Russian history and fundamentals of legislation:
• to obtain a temporary residence permit or a residence permit – 5900 rubles;
• to obtain a work permit or a patent – ​​3800 rubles.
