At the end of 2019, the amount of advance payments for a patent for a foreign citizen in 2020 became known. The indicated value is calculated by the formula, which includes the deflator coefficient established by the Ministry of Economic Development and the regional coefficient established by authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation.
At the end of 2019, acts of subjects of the Russian Federation established regional coefficients, after which the cost of patents for foreign citizens in subjects of the Russian Federation for 2020 became known. The deflator coefficient was established by Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as of October 21, 2019 N 684 and amounted to 1.813.
- The cost of a patent in Moscow will increase by 350 rubles and amount to 5350 rubles.
- The cost of a patent in the Moscow region will increase by 350 rubles and amount to 5100 rubles.
- The cost of a patent in St. Petersburg will increase by 200 rubles and amount to 4,000 rubles.
However, we draw attention to the fact that a draft amendment to the said Order of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is under consideration. The project provides for changing the size of the coefficient from 1.813 to 1.810. If these changes are accepted, this will entail a change in the cost of patents in all subjects of the Russian Federation. We will follow the changes.
We also remind you that if you pay advance payments for the duration of the patent in the current year at the current rate, an additional payment in the next year is not required.
