The Ministry of Health of Russia signed an order "On approval of the requirements for the certificate of absence of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), presented by foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving in Russia, the form, description of the form and the validity period of the said certificate."
This order approved the list of requirements for the certificate, for example:
- The certificate must contain the full name of the foreign citizen, details of the identity document, country of permanent (preferential) residence, date of birth, HIV test result, information about the medical organization that issued the certificate;
- The certificate can be issued by a medical organization on the territory of Russia, as well as by a medical organization on the territory of a foreign state upon presentation to diplomatic missions or consular offices of Russia.
As well as the validity period of the certificate (it will be 3 months) and its form.
This order comes into force on December 26, 2021.
Please note that when issuing certificates, their form must already be new and correspond to that indicated in the order.
