On August 19, 2021, the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia of August 10, 2021 No. 601 "On Approval of the Procedure for Submitting Notification by an Educational Organization of the Completion or Termination of Education of a Foreign Citizen (Stateless Person) ... list and forms of said notification" was published.
The order establishes the procedure and sequence of actions when an educational organization submits a notification of the completion or termination of education of a foreign citizen (stateless person) who has become engaged in a basic or additional professional educational program.
An educational organization within three working days from the date of expulsion of a foreign citizen is obliged to notify the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia where this organization is located.
In the notification, all fields in Russian must be filled in, such as, for example, the full name of a foreign citizen, the address of registration, the permitted period of stay, etc. The notification is signed by the head of the educational organization.
The notification is submitted by the educational organization directly to the sub-division on migration issues of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the regional level with a covering letter or sent by a registered post office with an acknowledgment of receipt and a delivery list.
This order comes into force on September 1, 2021.
