The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia issued Order No. 54n dated February 11, 2022, which amended Annexes No. 1-3 to Order No. 893n dated December 17, 2021 "On the distribution of ... approved ... quotas among the constituent entities of Russia."
This change has increased the number of quotas for work permits for foreign citizens from visa countries. For example, in the following proportions:
- in Moscow – from 2882 quotas to 5418;
- in the Moscow region - from 3776 to 5673;
- in St. Petersburg - from 2414 to 2835.
