The State Duma introduced draft laws developed by its vice-speaker Irina Yarova, aimed at counteraction illegal migration and suppressing fictitious legalization. These documents provide, in particular, criminal liability for fictitious registration.
Irina Yarovaya said that the package of documents, which was developed following the April meeting of the Council of Legislators with Russian President Vladimir Putin, has already received positive feedback from the Government and the Supreme Court and was supported by the fraction «United Russia».
