Most of these changes are related to the current geopolitical situation and are aimed at facilitating the participation in the program of compatriots living and residing in countries unfriendly to Russia.
In particular:
- in addition to the authorized bodies for carrying out activities to implement the Program, these functions will be provided by temporary groups
- an application for participation in the state program can now be submitted in the state not only of one's citizenship or permanent residence, but also of temporary residence, if residing in countries unfriendly to Russia
- reduced time for consideration of the application and decision
- translation of documents, including those in Russian, is no longer required.
