The legislative authorities of Moscow, Moscow Region and St. Petersburg have decided to increase the value of patents for foreign citizens in 2019.
The Moscow City Council has increased the cost of a patent for foreign citizens working in Moscow by 500 rubles for 2019. Monthly advance payment in 2019 will be 5,000 rubles.
The Moscow Region Duma has increased the cost of a patent for foreign citizens working in Moscow Region by 450 rubles for 2019. Monthly advance payment in 2019 will be 4750 rubles.
The Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg has increased the cost of a patent for foreign citizens working in St. Petersburg by 300 rubles for 2019. Monthly advance payment in 2019 will be 3800 rubles.
The Federal Tax Service in Letter as of January 22, 2018 N GD-4-11/926@ reported that if foreign citizen paid for a patent at cost of current year before the beginning of a new year, then cost difference is not required.
For this reason, Confidence Group recommends paying for patents in the current year for 2019 at current cost.
