Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree according to which stamps on the conclusion and dissolution of marriage, as well as on the presence of children under 14 years old and foreign passports will be affixed at the request of the citizen.
Only the marks on registration at the place of residence, on deregistration, as well as on military service will remain mandatory.
It is worth noting that earlier, only marks about the blood group, Rh factor and TIN number were not mandatory.
However, many lawyers are confident that this innovation can bring problems for citizens associated with the conclusion of real estate transactions and the registration of inheritance.
In addition, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in December 2021 Moscow will begin to issue electronic passports in the form of a plastic card, which will contain all the basic information about the owner, including a digital photo, fingerprints and even, if desired, an electronic signature.
