On February 18, 2020 some applicants for U.S. visa faced with sudden change of the delivery address in their profiles, which might be interpreted as disclosure of personal data.
It concerns all applicants notwithstanding the step of the visa process they go through, including the applicants, waiting for the interview and those, who is going to collect the passports from the Embassy.
U.S. customer service representatives do not provide any official information, but still recommend providing written feedback in the appropriate option of the profiles in order to describe the case. The Embassy provides the answer within 1-2 working days.
It should be also noted, that the applicant could change the delivery address himself just before 12 a.m. of the date of the interview. Then it would not be possible to make any changes and the applicant should ask the Embassy to provide assistance.
We would recommend the applicants to follow the above mentioned procedure and inform the Embassy immediately after they find any changes in their profiles.
