As of March 30, 2022, 37 countries have announced the closure of their airspace for aircraft from Russia, namely:

- Ireland;
- Iceland;
- Spain;
- Italy;
- Canada;
- Cyprus;
- Latvia;
- Lithuania;
- Luxembourg;
- Malta;
- Moldova;
- the Netherlands;
- Norway;
- Poland;
- Portugal;
- Romania;
- North Macedonia;
- Slovakia;
- Slovenia;
- USA;
- Finland;
- France;
- Croatia;
- Montenegro;
- Czech;
- Switzerland;
- Sweden.
In response, Russia closed its airspace to 36 countries on the list, not including only the United States.
