The Confidence Group company reports that in June 2017 in the cities of the Confederations Cup football competitions, the MIA bodies in most cases refuse to consider the possibility of speeding up the registration of an invitation to enter the RF for foreign citizens. Only in exceptional cases, acceleration is possible. However, Confidence Group does not recommend employers of foreign citizens to count on the approval of acceleration. This fact should be taken into account when preparing invitations to foreign citizens.
Since June 1, 2017, the Presidential Decree has entered into force, imposing restrictions on foreign citizens in the cities hosting football events. This Decree toughened the requirements for the registration of various documents for foreign citizens in Russia.
