In the fall of 2022, the Consulate of Germany began to impose new requirement for issuing travel medical insurance for any visa categories. In addition to all the previously valid conditions, the following requirement was added: the insurance must be issued in the EU by one of the insurance companies registered in the European Union.
The new rule for issuing Schengen visas was also adopted by other EU countries, including Austria, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Estonia, Switzerland, Spain, France, Croatia and others.
Some Consulates and Visa Application Centers do not accept non-EU travel insurance from applicants, other EU countries only warn that such insurance may be needed at any time so that applicants should be ready to provide it to the Consulate/Visa Application Center by their request. At the same time, refusals to issue a visa when providing travel medical insurance issued by a non-EU insurance company have become more frequent.
Citizens of the Russian Federation who want to apply for a visa get used to the fact that obtaining travel medical insurance does not cause any difficulties. Therefore, they frantically search the Internet for a company that can make insurance in accordance with the new obligations, but they face several difficulties:
1) huge number of advertisements for obtaining travel medical insurance on the Internet with a guarantee of compliance with the requirements of the Consulate of a certain country. Most of these insurance companies have no idea about the peculiarities of issuing visas of certain countries, as well as about any innovations. Most of the insurance companies are Russian. Thus, get a medical insurance for traveling abroad, the applicant has the risk that the Consulate will not accept him, or that a visa will be refused due to non-compliance of medical insurance with the requirements of the Consulate of a certain country.
2) having found a European insurance company the applicant cannot check its constituent documents, the insurance program for all the rules of the Consulate, including due to unknowing the language of the country of the insurance company. The applicant does not know whether the insurance of this particular insurance company will be accepted.
3) the applicant cannot pay for travel medical insurance due to the lack of bankcards valid in the European Union and other countries.

Please note that the cost of insurance for children, as well as people over 60 years old, is differ.In practice, foreign insurance companies refuse insurance to persons over 70 years old. If the Consulate does not strict the requirements for obtaining medical insurance, Confidence Group, as before, helps in obtaining insurance from Russian insurance companies. The cost of such insurance is from 1 EURO per day of stay in the country.
Please note that the trend towards tightening the requirements for issuing visas to unfriendly countries is obvious, the number of visa refusals for Russians is staggering. The reasons for refusals are often far-fetched and highly subjective. The faults to the documents for issuing visas is very strict, and therefore we strongly recommend that you carefully study the requirements of the as well as double-check any information with visa professionals.
Payment for services can be made both in cash and non-cash in rubles, US dollars, EURO. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Diners Club bank cards. Payment is also possible by a QR code, as well as via a bank link sent to the customer by e-mail.
Payment can be made in any convenient way, including:
- by transfer to the Contractor’s account, after confirming the service and issuing an invoice for payment, in such currencies as Rubles, USD, EURO.
- by cash at the Confidence Group office.
- by card. We accept the following cards for payment: Visa, MasterCard, MIR after sending the Customer a link to the page of the acquiring bank.
When paying for an order by card, the payment is processed on the bank's authorization page, where you need to enter the following bank card details:
- card type;
- card number;
- card expiration date (it is on the front side of the card);
- the name of the cardholder (in latin letters, exactly as indicated on the card);
- CVC2/CVV2 code.
If your card is connected to the 3D-Secure service, you will be automatically redirected to the page of the bank that issued the card to go through the authentication procedure. For information about the rules and methods of additional identification, please contact the bank that issued your bank card.
The security of processing Internet payments through the bank's payment gateway is guaranteed by the PCI DSS international security certificate. Information is transmitted using SSL encryption technology. This information is not available to third parties.
Tips and recommendations on the necessary security measures for payments using a bank card:
take care of your credit cards the same way you take care of cash. Don't leave them in the car, restaurant, shop, etc.;
never give your full credit card number over the phone to any person or company;
always have at hand the emergency phone number for the bank that issued your card, and in case of loss, contact the bank immediately;
enter your card details only when making a purchase. Never give them for any other reason.

Delivery of documents in Moscow
Unless otherwise provided by the Agreement, delivery of documents is carried out free of charge during business hours at the actual location of the Customer within the Moscow Ring Road.
The cost of additional delivery at the initiative of the Customer is 900 rubles.
Delivery is carried out within 1-2 days from the receipt of the corresponding request.
Delivery in other regions of Russia
Delivery in other regions of the provision of services is carried out in accordance with the terms of the Agreement with the Customer.
Documents can also be delivered to the Customer by the CSE, DHL and other delivery services, the cost of delivery in this case depends on the cost of the courier service.
