Residents of special economic zones (SEZ) will be able to attract foreign citizens without quotas
The Ministry of Economic Development has developed a
draft law on amendments to the Labor Code, simplifying the process of employing visa foreign citizens with employers - residents of special economic zones (SEZ).The draft law proposes to introduce a new article 351.8 "Features of labor activity of persons working for residents of special economic zones and management companies of special economic zones" into the Labor Code, which will provide
the opportunity for SEZ residents to attract foreign citizens entering Russia in the manner requiring a visa without obtaining a permit to attract foreign citizens and without taking into account regional and industry quotas.
The form of the work permit issued to foreign citizens attracted and used to carry out labor activities on the territory of the SEZ will be established by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
