The head of the Altai Republic by his decree introduced a ban on attracting foreigners under a patent for a number of companies

The Head of the Altai Republic signed Decree No. 370-u dated December 24, 2021, which prohibits employers engaged in the following types of economic activity from attracting foreign workers on the basis of patents.

The Decree provides for an appropriate list of types of economic activity:

Code of the type of economic activity included in the prohibited list according to OKVED ("OK 029-2014 (NACE Rev. 2)	Type of economic activity included in the prohibited list
01	crop and animal husbandry, hunting and the provision of related services in these areas
02.2	logging
02.3	collection and harvesting of food forest resources, non-timber forest resources and medicinal plants
02.40.2	provision of logging services
47.25.1	retail sale of alcoholic beverages, including beer, in specialized stores
47.26	retail sale of tobacco products in specialized stores
47.73	retail sale of medicines in specialized stores (pharmacies)
47.8	retail trade in non-stationary trade facilities and markets
47.99	other retail trade outside shops, stalls, markets
49.3	activities of other land passenger transport
49.4	activities of road freight transport and transportation services
50	water transport activity
51.10	passenger air transport activities
85.11	preschool education

This decree entered into force on January 1, 2022. An economic entity must fulfill this requirement within 3 months from this date.

Please note that this also applies to those companies that indicated the types of activities listed in the Decree as additional (such a position follows from the previously provided clarifications of the Ministry of Labor and is supported by the position of the Supreme Court dated January 14, 2016 No. AKPI15-1315).

In addition, we remind you that until January 1, 2022, companies had to bring the number of foreign employees in accordance with the Decree of the Government of Russia. Read more in our news.
