The Ministry of Labor approved the distribution of quotas for issuing work permits and invitations to enter Russia for visa foreign citizens for 2024
On January 10, 2024,
Order No. 884n of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia dated December 22, 2023, came into force, approving the distribution of quotas for issuing work permits and invitations to enter Russia to Russian constituent entities.The quota was increased to 155,929 work permits and invitations to enter Russia compared to 2023 (for 2023 the quota was set at 123,943).
In a number of regions the following quotas have been established:
- Central Federal District - 27,057
- Moscow - 3255
- Moscow region - 11,250
- St. Petersburg - 2408
- Leningrad region - 15,196
The quota reserve for Russia for 2024 is set at 51,976.
