In Moscow and the Moscow region they
plan to introduce a single patent for foreign citizens working on construction sites in both regions on the basis of a patent.The initiative to amend the Law on the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in Russia 115-FZ has been sent for consideration to the Russian government, and is now undergoing the approval procedure.
Currently, foreign citizens who have a patent to work in Russia have the right to work only in the region where the patent was issued. At the same time, the cost of a patent, paid in the form of an advance payment upon receipt of a patent, is established in each region separately, reflecting the regional characteristics of the labor market, and is established by government authorities of the subjects of Russia.
It is assumed that a single patent for Moscow and the Moscow region will have the same cost.
We also remind you that recently the Russian Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the Chairman of the Russian Government Mikhail Mishustin, began to develop a bill that should allow migrant workers to work under the same patent in several regions of Russia (more details in our news).
