Citizens of Ukraine, LPR and DPR do not need a patent to work, and their documents, including a driver's license and STS, are recognized in the Russian Federation
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Gorovoy, said that citizens of the DPR, LPR and Ukraine will be able to get a job in the Russian Federation without obtaining a labor patent. Previously, only citizens of the DPR and LPR with refugee status and temporarily or permanently residing in the Russian Federation had such an opportunity.
In addition, the documents of such citizens, including driver's licenses and vehicle registration certificates, will be recognized throughout the country.
However, these provisions have not yet been reflected in official regulations, therefore, in order to avoid migration risks, we recommend waiting for the official publication of such acts before hiring the above citizens without a permit.
